Helite airbag West are all raised with a mechanical system. Thanks to the pull cord, our Motorradwesten are reliable and are not inadvertently activated. The pull cord is like the safety belt in the car. The arrival and unfasten is quickly becoming a habit.

FIRST INSTALLATION

The mounting is very easy and intuitive. However, it is important to make sure that the cord is correctly attached to the vehicle, to ensure maximum safety and comfort during the trip.
First, it is necessary to find a suitable place for mounting the pull cord on the motorcycle. The optimal point at the ripcord on the bicycle is fixed varies for different vehicle types.

The ideal attachment point is a rounder, more stable part of the frame under the seat. The closer to the attachment point at the center of gravity of the body, he is the best. Sharp, sharp or hot surfaces on the vehicle should be avoided, as these could damage the cord.

CAUTION!

The cord must not be fixed to the handlebar.

The pull cord is looped through the fastening point on the motorcycle. Then the pull-cord with a quick release on the vest is infected. Make sure that the pull cord restricts not your freedom of movement. Is the pull cord too long, unnecessarily increases the activation time of the airbags. A short cord reduces the freedom of movement and thus the driving comfort.

After one-time installation, the pull cord on the motorcycle remains attached and is not removed. Before or after each ride only the pull-cord is on or staked accordingly. If you have multiple vehicles, we recommend to install a pull-cord to each bike.
